How soon will I see my images?

Your shoot is over and you are excited to see the result, we are too!

After your session, we will spend many hours working with your beautiful pictures. We carefully select the best photos from your day with us. Once we have done that, we curate and create a stunning collection for you to view.

Once we have built your collection, we will meet again and reveal your images at your ordering session. During this time, you will select the images that you would like to purchase for your home and family.

Image editing typically takes 2-4 weeks from the date of your session or your final payment (if applicable).

We know that you are excited, and like I said we are too, so you can rest assured knowing that we are going to work hard to get your photos to you as soon as possible.

*Please note that we do not offer RAW or unedited images. Even though we have taken many images during your session, the final photos are presented to you and chosen at the discretion of the photographers. These will be the only images available to you.*

Who owns the copyright to my photos?

I really want to print/post all of my photos, can I have the copyright?

Most of the time, people want to post, print, and share their images, and guess what, you CAN!

But the answer is actually a bit more complicated than that, so let me explain.

Here at Photography by Tinajayne we offer licenses to any image that you purchase because the only person that owns the actual copyright is Tinajayne Bosland. We, as an individual or a business,  can and likely will use the images to promote our work either in print, on our website, our Social Media Outlets, promotional materials, and possibly public trade shows or published works.

You, as a person, may use your purchased photos any way that you would like for personal use. In fact, we encourage it.  However, our contract states that if images we created for you are ever to be published or used for non-personal use (i.e., Magazine, newspaper article, Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Blog, personal/ business website, etc.), Photography by Tinajayne must be credited and could be subject to publication fees.

We will never share any personal information about you – without your consent, nor will we ever use your photos inappropriately.

However, you may use them for your personal needs however you would like. I hope this very detailed description helps.

How do I pay for my session?

So you paid your reservation fee of  $125 but you want to know how and when to pay the balance, well let me say,  thanks for thinking ahead. That is awesome! Here is what you need to know.

The balance is due on the session day. We accept Cash, Checks, or Credit Cards.

we also offer a payment plan:

Everyone is on a budget and we respect that, so we do offer a 3 month Payment Plan for those that need this option.  Since we want everyone to be able to afford  quality custom portraits, we happily offer this option, but we have strict rules that we must apply.

1. You must have 2 credit or debit cards that can be used; a primary, and a backup in case the primary payment fails.

2. You must be willing to have an auto deduction each month on the same day.

3. You will be assessed a $30. late fee for any payments that are late

4. You will be assessed a $30. NSF fees for payments that are returned.

5. Cash payments are not an option - no exceptions.

*images will not be released nor will they be placed in the editing queue until the full payment has been paid.

My life in Oregon

First, let me start by saying that I hate writing these. UGH!  I never really know what to say, I mean I could tell you how much I love photography and my camera, but I am guessing that you already figured that much out. So instead, how about I tell you about the other parts of my life, the things I like, the along with the things I don't.  Some of them are funny, some are serious, all are true.

In 2006 I met and later married my best friend and probably the kindest man in the whole world (what can I say, I am a lucky girl). He still makes me laugh every day and that is probably the secret to having a great marriage. I am the mother of three incredible, handsome, and amazing teens. One will be going away to college in the fall and two are still in high school. We live a busy life. :)

I started learning American Sign Language in 2010. It is a beautiful language and I wish more people knew it.

In my spare time, I enjoy spontaneous road trips to the beach, while blasting my radio and singing along to every song. I spend way to much time at the movies, I have even been known to stand in line for a new release for several hours.  I LOVE board games  - like seriously I love them.  I spend as much time as I can hanging with my friends, and when I can't I binge watch Netflix.

So now that you know some of my favorite things, it would feel disingenuous to not share with you some of the things that I really don't like, I will try to keep the list short :)

I really don't like it when people drive slow in the fast lane. I hate chocolate - it's so gross-  this opinion was solidified by the Twix incident of 2012 (I will forever be scarred). I am not a fan of creepy-crawlies, I have concerns as to why they exist (yes I know how good they are for the environment and they help us, I get it, I do) but they must be squashed. EEK! I get super frustrated when I spill on myself, though admittedly, it happens a lot (which is just another reason I love aprons). I hate it when people miss the obvious, I will never see a man in a one-piece leotard and think "that's a good look on him", and movies about possession are just wrong!

So that about sums me up, if I sound like someone you could spend an hour or two with while rocking out some amazing pics, give me a call and we get this whole thing started with a cup of coffee - I'm buying. :)

*Post is updated regularly to adjust to an ever-changing life ;)
